Returns and Exchanges

Claims for damaged / missing items must be received within two (2) business days of receipt of merchandise.

Please read all warranty material carefully as the warranty period, service and transferability varies by manufacturer and product. All returns require a Return Merchandize Authorization. To request RMA please login to your account.

Returns without RMA this authorization will not be accepted. RMAs are effective for 30 days only.

The RMA number must be printed clearly on outside of the carton, and all products must be securely protected in double packaging. If the RMA number is not visible, the shipment may be refused. If shipping labels are placed on or RMA numbers written on the manufacturers boxes, the product will not be in resalable condition, and, in turn, will not be eligible for return. All original packaging and materials must be returned with the product.

Defective product can be returned within 30 days of sale. After 30 days, defective product must be returned to the manufacturer, under the specific warranty allowances.

All returns must be returned with freight PREPAID. Damaged and defective product replacements will be sent with no freight expense to the customer. The item must be returned in new and unused condition, in the original boxes and with all paperwork (this includes warranties), parts and accessories to insure full credit. "New and unused" means that there are no scratches, marks, or blemishes on the item; there are no signs of wear on the product, the tags, or the case; and the product must not have been sized or altered in any way. We cannot accept a return of any item with any indication that it has been used.

All non-defective returns will be assessed a 25% restock fee within 60 days of purchase and will only be accepted in resalable condition with all original packaging. Freight charges will not be refunded.

Upon receipt and acceptance of returned items, TotalMedia will credit the customers account for merchandise costs. No cash refunds will be allowed. Credit will be applied back to the original order, and under the same payment terms.

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Special orders, closeout items and discontinued items.
  • Items for which manufacturers will not accept returns.
  • Items showing obvious signs of misuse, consumer abuse or commercial use.
  • Color copiers, printers, fax machines, toner cartridges and consumables.
  • Original manufacturer computers, computer products, software once opened.
  • All consumables, including but not limited to recordable media, film, digital memory, tapes, batteries, paper, chemicals, ink, bulbs, CD/DVDs, etc.

    Please allow one week for return processing.

    Returns will not be accepted 60 days after sale, regardless of reason.

    FAQ

    Must I have a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) to return a product?

    Yes. You must obtain a RMA number within our Return policy period. We will not accept returns without prior authorization and an RMA number.

    What address do I send returns to?

    All instructions for returning items to us will be e-mailed to you. Since you cannot return an item without getting an RMA number, we do not publish our return address. You will receive this address after your return has been approved.

    Who pays for shipping an item back to you?

    The customer is responsible for all shipping costs either to them or back to us.

    Will you send a replacement before you have received the defective unit?

    No, we cannot send a replacement until we receive the defective unit. You can place an entirely new order and have that shipped immediately. We will issue a credit for the defective unit once we receive it.
